  INTEGRATING REFUGEES THROUGH EDUCATION

Our Mission

•    To allow each child to fulfill his/her academic potential.
•    To provide these children a toolkit for independent life.
•    To protect the children from various forms of abuse.
•    To promote social mobility of the children through education and professional skills. 
•    To encourage young leadership by supporting community and social initiatives led by graduates of the program.  
•    To develop scalable educational models for integrating refugee children in host communities.

Come True Schooling Project - South Sudan

Come True, a recent addition to Become, is an initiative developed and facilitated by Adv. Lea Forshtat and Dr. Rami Gudovitch to address the major educational needs of the South Sudanese children who were deported from Israel in 2012. From Streets to Scholars Scholarships

This program currently provides secondary school scholarships for 17 students, and we are looking for new sponsors for 31 additional children from the Homa-Bay district in Kenya. In this district, only 23.5% of the children receive secondary school education, which without it, they have no chance of exiting the poverty cycle…  Continue reading

100% of private donations go directly to projects supporting children at risk.

0% of your donation is spent on administrative costs and fundraising. Overhead costs are covered by sales of African products and donor grants. Our staff is entirely volunteer based. What We Do
